Danny's Grill And Sushi Bar

Last July 10 was my cousin Cheri's birthday. Although celebrations were scheduled on the coming weekend, her father gave her a dinner.
When we asked my uncle where, he replied : Danny's Grill. I exchanged glances, questions both marked in our faces, with Cheri and asked again : where? Gerry's Grill? And he answered : basta, sa Macapagal yun, masarap dun. Chinese.

So we tailed their car and followed the instructions. It was indeed Danny's Grill. It was across Macapagal's dampa. The place was really my uncle's place. Imagine barangay captains (which he was for more than a decade) enjoying loads of beers and a table full of pulutans, which he himself confirmed later while waiting for our orders. He said that he frequented this restaurant with his government collegues during his terms.

On the table :

For starters, we ordered for various dimsums and a plate of seaweed with century eggs.

We liked the seaweed plate a lot. There's a hint of spiciness which complimented the taste of the sea in this dish.

We tried their_ avocado, green mango, water melon, four seasons... with green tea shakes.

The soup was delicious but I forgot what's it called. There were sea weeds in it. That's what I remember.

> steamed garlic broccoli

> shrimp tempura

> fried chicken

> king crab in sweet chili sauce

Well, it was a tummy bloated dinner.
Happy Birthday cuzin'!!!

The verdict : The place is a little old. When we came, there was rain water pouring from the
roof on some parts of the place. My 9 year old niece, who has been an expert (since 3 yrs old) on king crabs' recipe didn't like the sweet chili sauce here and even preferred the across the street Dampa recipe.
