Flavors of China

Often, grocery task makes us so hungry and we resolve to running to the nearest food establishment.

Flavours of China can be found at the mouth of SM grocery we frequent.

Although we pass by this establishment quite oftenly, it was the first time we would be trying it out. Not a good timing thu'..it was jam-packed and we waited too long for hungry tummies such ours.

The food arrived but accidentally dropped by the server_ oh no! all of them!!! My hankering stomach wanted to confront and scold the assassin but my human heart went to the person considering a bigger trouble he had to face . So we patiently waited to replenish our orders but we shorted the list to shorten the waiting.

- honeyed lechon

- crispy noodles

- yang chow

- flavor-satisfied customers x- outing the 10 years waiting :D

Harbor View

At the back of MOA, before the ocean, are strings of restaurants. The far right (facing the mall) lane is more busy than the far left. We prefer the left wing.

The girls liked the whale in the resto's logo and since I didn't like the other one nearest which was the President (I had enough of it in Ongpin), we went to the Harbor View Bistro.

Just like in the other restaurants and bars there, people usually prefer to eat alfresco where the ocean breeze is nice and free. There are also small entertainments outside like band performing shows.

But we were too tired to appreciate the bustling energy outside that night, so we stayed inside.

The girls ( kare-kare experts) paid thumbs up to their kare-kare but disliked the rest of the food on our table.

- half-cooked satisfied customers:<

Benissimo Pizza n' Pasta

When the house chef ( yours truly!!) is not well enough ( hey, I'm only human..I get sick sometimes :<) to manage the kitchen, expect these voracious people in my home out in the neighborhood, sniffing out for something to nibble as a slapdash for my homecooked food.

Eating out is their chance to eat junk with permission. My girls suggested this pizza bar in the neighborhood. Benissimo, sounds Italian with all those "ssimo" at the end of a word.

This is good for hungry jacks like us, menu choices are quick and easy. With only two flavors of pizza to choose from, 2 pasta dishes and some cheesy fingers, there are no better way but to try all. There's nothing much there, anyway!

- Kyla is usually urgent

- while Myka is always patient ( see the result ;)

The pizzas are great, pasta is dry, fingers are too oily, staff service and (home) living room ambiance are superb.

Soloma Restaurant, KL

Soloma Restaurant with its international and local cuisines and Malaysian cultural show is a must dinner place for tourist interested in exploring Malaysian culture.

The cultural show was amusing with awesome cultural dances.

Haven't I mentioned over and over again that I love buffet. Soloma has enormous selections of dishes that delighted me. Countless buffet service tables scattered around the dining hall. I decided to start to the ones near our table.

- salted eggs plus others I couldn't name

- spicy squid

There were more that I hadn't taken photos of, but I had to enjoy the food in real sense_ so I parked my cam for a while and indulged.
