Sophie's Mom

Here's the current quick fix of my daughters. This cookie takes place the J.Co doughnuts craze, only because up to the present the whole Manila is still mad crazy about J.Co and it's hard to beat the q in every store.

The cookie is Oreo Cheesecake from Sophie's Mom.

NO q issue here. Buying is easy breezy :)

Never fails.. everytime we step foot at SM or MOA, these girls would buy that cookie each and nibble while strolling at the mall. Most of the time if they are not fully satisfied.. would buy some more for take home.

The Oreo cheesecake cookie is too sweet for me, so one time I tried the one with dried fruit. I forgot the name but it's like dried cranberry I think. I would have liked it if not too sweet. I'm not sure if my sugar tolerance is descending as I age or Sophie's Mom's cookies are just really sweeter than other cookies.

Older daughter actually introduced Sophie's Mom at home. She bought some red velvet cupcakes from here for me and her younger sister. But when they arrived home, the cupcakes were deconstructed and we didn't appreciate it. haha.

We have yet to try the other cupcakes.

Mrs. Fields' Sandwiches

We had never been to MOA (Mall of Asia) so frequent as much as we did during the recent X'mas holiday. We combed most shops in this massive mall looking for presents. Ofcourse we took some breaks to eat. And so the rest of the shoppers did. Which made looking for a breathable place to eat became as tedious as looking for the right present.

One time, we didn't bother to think twice when we saw a vacant table of a pop-up resto of Mrs. Fields. I'm referring to the one in the middle of the mall lobby. Actually,we were hardly aware of the name of the coffee shop when we sat down cos all we saw were vacant chairs and a table. You know we were like "when you are shopping for hours and all you want to do is to sit".

So it was like "we better order food so we could sit here for a while". Personally, I'm not even a fan of Mrs. Fields cookies cos they are too sweet for my preference. But my girls love the cookies here.

So we ordered each a sandwich meal which included a cookie and a drink.

Mine was the tuna sandwich in ciabatta bread. #failed.

Older daughter got the chicken sandwich in ciabatta bread too. #failed also.

Younger daughter had the roast beef sandwich in wheat bread I think. #winner.
This one redeemed the lost sandwiches and got shared by the 3 of us.

Well, I should have had just let Mrs. Fields sweeten my day with her famous cookies instead of those sandwiches... I don't even.

Hazel's Choco Chips Cookies

I know my photo shot fails to give justice to the real yummyness of these cookies. But believe you me, they are really good! My girls finished the five-quite-big-a-chunks of choco chips cookies home made by my friend Hazel, in one sitting.

With fiber healthy friendly ingredients of oatmeal (rolled oats), cereals (kellogs) and choco chips (hershey's), these cookies are sure weenaar!!
