El Prado

El Prado is the signature restaurant of Berjaya Manila Hotel. Located at the mezzanine floor of the hotel, it offers Asian and International cuisines.

A visiting friend stayed in this hotel and wasn't so pleased finding out the familiar Asian dishes from her home- based country in the menu. She had enough of those you know. The pinoy in her was actually craving for our Filipino dishes.

So glad she was to order our local beef sinigang.

I,on the other hand, had too much of sinigang as part of our weekly menu at home.

And opted to try their satay chicken. I was actually expecting this dish as a barbecue like the ones I had tried in Malaysia. It came as rice toppings but good as well.

watermelon and mango shakes

The girls came down for lunch  late. They had fun in the pool and had buckets of nachos which delayed their lunch to 3pm .

If you left these girls on their own_expect that they would order either pasta dish or if they go rice meal, kare-kare rules the table.

Satisfied.
