Stay Away from Lotte on Midnight

It was another hospital night. Cuzin Che wanted to lighten things up and decided to treat the family out. Ofcourse we made sure our patient was stable. We left one family member to stay just in case...

We were in Las Pinas a not so 24/7 city. At past midnight, choices here are shortlisted with fastfood and coffee shops. But the group wanted rice and chinese dishes at this unholy hour! We coudn't go far from the hospital.

I suggested a newly found Taiwanese resto, just two blocks away and it's 24/7 open ! Why not_ I had nice experience with Lotte. Taiwanese Seafood see here few weeks ago.




We reached the place as quick as we thought about it. It was empty and neat but well lighted.







I went in last and saw them in the videoke room. wtfish?!!! were they planning to scandalize the whole neighborhood! hahaha!!!!



We ordered and the food arrived on time.

sweet & sour pork

fried noodles

prawns in garlic sauce

Most of these plates we already tried during our first visit there. So I would know to compare them. On a glance , I could see already the difference in color and presentation of the dishes see previous visit here. I looked at Che whom in minutes had already grabbed a taste of almost each dish. Her expression was not in a thumbs up mode. I took my chance and had taste of each.


Disappointment X 5 !!! They were all awful. A particular dish even tasted rotten. We called the attention of the server and asked. She admitted that the resto had different chef on duty and that already they received complaints from costumers who had eaten at the place on the same hour we did. The server even went all the way telling us that they already told the same story to the Taiwanese owner and so far had done nothing about it yet !

Moral of the story ? : : Don't eat there at night to dawn time.

We left the plates almost untouched and left the place still with hungry stomachs.






We eased the pain away by enjoying burgers at Mcdo!!!!!
